STAUS BAR DISAPPEARED

im running X4 and i must've accidently done something to make the status bar on the bottom of the screen disappear, and i cant change colors, access my WCS views, etc. to work on my part!!! what do i have to do it bring it back?

Run the MCAMX Control Panel Applet in the Mastercam Program Group and Select Reset Status Bar pane contents.

Go to the WIndows Control Panel... where Add Remove Programs is....

 

There is a Mastercam applet there that you can use to reset stuff and turn some features off and on

ok i was able to find and do that now, but still nothing has re-appeared. i dont remember having done anything that would have disabled it, could it have possibly been some CTRL + shortcut or something else?

I had the same thing happen to me.

 

Control Panel-> Mastercam X -> Mastercam Properties -> Reset -> Status Bar Pane Contents

 

Restart Mastercam if it doesn't fix it, restart windows.

I recently had the same problem with one of my programmer's computers. I finally had to reset his toolbar to default. If you go to Settings>Customize from the top drop down menu it brings up the Customize dialog box. At the bottom of the Toolbars Tab page are 3 icons, the one on the far right will reset your toolbars to default setting. If you have customized your toolbars, you will have to do that again. I tried several different things to get around having to reset because he had customized his toolbars, but I couldn't get anything to work. If anyone else knows an easier way to fix this, please post, I would like to know.

I tried the Control Panel Applet to reset the Status Bar pane and it did not work for his PC. I feel he inadvertantly made a toolbar change that caused this, I'm just not sure, I didn't have time to troubleshoot too deep.

thanks for all the responses, honestly i just havent been able to find any reset that works, nor does my reboot. I just had ro reinstall and all is fine, took a little longer but now i can get back to work
