I havn't used one, but I have been considering it. I have our rep coming in the next week to talk about this and some other tools. We will probably get one to try out in tool steel, so in a little while I might be able to comment. I've used alot of seco tooling and I like it, so I'm expecting these to be good.

Yes and they do a good job for the money. I really like highfeed cutters and kind of go way from square shoulder stuff. Was doing 225 ipm in 410 HT and cool to see pop corn coming off the SS. You get into the softer grades like 304/316 then I would look to high sheer inserts on the square shoulder. Heat treat and high feed played real nice for me in many applications.

Well, here it is. Gonna run it thru some 303.

Called for some cut data for 303. SFM=700 CPT=.006 Kinda freaky hitting that green button, but those chips just sailed off.

I have been wanting to try that cutter. You will have to let us know how the tool life is as well.
