Error when trying to use blend toolpath

I’ve been using blend for a loot of my toolpaths but now I’m getting a dialog box with this error message after I select surfaces and blend lines.

 

 

 

What to change color of last processed surface?

 

 

 

If I check ‘Yes’

 

 

 

I get – the Colors dialog box, pick a color and click green check

 

 

 

Then I get –‘Do you wish to keep this operation?’

 

 

 

I can’t find any color change and don’t know what I should look for.

 

I’ve also rebooted and still get the same thing.

 

 

 

 

 

So what is wrong and what do I look for?

Are you sure that it isnt changing the color of the surface to green?I get this alot and all I do is change the color of the last surface processed then hit alt-e all that color and ican see the surface that i colored.Alot of times its a little sliver of a surface or bad trimmed surface.Repair or delete the surface if not needed the regenerate.

move that color to another level and its probably what millertime said,i get that alot too.

Hi Nils,

 

Try using Analyze > Test Surfaces/Solids > Test Surfaces. You probably have a Bad surface that is killing your toolpath. Do you have Depth Limits set?

Found it, thanks guys.

 

I changed the color and moved to to another level. closed all the levels and fit the screen to that 'bad' surface. Deleted it and all is well!
