Dynamic Rest Mill takes forever.

Guys whenever I use Dynamic Rest Mill it sits there and chugs forever on what seems like is a simple task. Freezing my MC window until it is complete.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Usually this is prevalent on selecting one previous operatoin. But in this case it doesn't matter what these settings are.

 

Tried using a stock model and opti rest, and that was an epic fail, didn't do d1ck squat...

Filter setting have no effect on this regen time. There is no multitreading going on with this toolpath. I just freezes stuff up and then pops up finished. Bug?

Im using X5 and get exactly the same issues. Tested as you have with no luck, so for us this has been added to the redundant toolpath box at this stage !

Yes.. Some time I don’t think it worth it to use Dynamic Rest Mill, it take forever and it your robbed system RAM, prevent you from doing anything else

Sounds like the same issue that plagues hybrid now and then. It's taking forever to actually jump into multi-thread mode.
