1st....still in X5

Horizontal Mach Ctr.

I am transform/rotating 2 operations(machined in planes I created),in these ops the Z clrnc is 392.125 (metric) and cut depth is 335.25.

The rotated ops has varying Z clrnc's (392.125, 389.125, 418.85)....why is this??? :wallbash:

The Z depths have not changed.

Has anyone heard of this before? I have not, I have done countless programs this way and never saw this before.

The only thing I use transform for is translate. Rotate has burned me in the past (like v9 past...) and I won't even touch transform-mirror anymore (that includes the mirror c-hook). Translate is the only thing I can somewhat trust it to do correctly.

  • 3 weeks later...

The varying Z depths were traced to an operation. The odd part is that the operation did not appear dirty.

During backplot if looking closely....you could see the varying Z depths.

W/O the op appearing dirty, there is no final answer as to what caused this or how to prevent it from

happening in the future.

Thanks to QC@Mcam and my local reseller Optipro for the help.
