At my last job we had their 2" dia X 26" long chatter free boring bar. It worked great!

we use their solid carbide bars when having issues with chatter on the lathes. They seem to work great. I cannot attest to the milling portion of their product line.

Haven't used any of their turning stuff. Tried a few of their CAT40 holders for some sizes that Techniks didn't have (8 inch ER32, 6 inch ER11), and they seem to work fine. Not quite as nice visually as Techniks, and they use a horrible rust preventative that's a bitch to get off.

 

I had a .500 long burr/crest of a thread from the ER32 embedded in the web of my thumb for a few days, which was awesome. I was using a paper towel and Simple Green to try and get their anti-rust gunk out of the threads, when the burr just came off and skewered my hand. Haven't bought any since.

I've used some of their carbide bars when I don't feel like spending the fortune that Sandvik wants; I think I will switch to their stick tools exclusively soon, but I'm still looking for good Capto makers...
