MU1 crash during Verify- save stl file

Trying to save a very basic part with 6 tools as an STL file during verify and it crashed MU1? Even X5 wasn't this unstable

Amen to that. I actually started a crash log so I can track how much X6 MU1 crashes on me. It's disgusting

Were these fresh installs or updates to the Existing X6 on the computer? Have you sent a file to [email protected] to review? Talked with your dealers? Call tech support?

 

Believe it or not tech support does care and wants to help, but they can only do that if you call them and ask for it.

Yes that is the correct method. Again what has your dealer said about your crash issues?

THis morming I'm programming a a part that has 3 peices to the workholding (Raptor Vise, RWP-01 Spacer, and a #2 Dead Center - no fasteners inserted - unnecessary) and a piece of stock. I ran varify with that STL created by using "Save Some" method as my stock and it went through fine. I'm going through the operations saving as STL's in Verify with no issues. My STL and Tool TOlerance are set to .001.

 

What are your STL Tolerances? I've had issues with trying to use less than .001 in Mastercam and in CATIA as well.

Yes that is the correct way ..

Are you really running Vista??

If that were my computer I would upgrade the OS to Win7 x64.. you'll think you got a new computer

Didn't see Vista on the siggy...

 

Not that this is an issue but I didn't even bother with Vista because of past new OS's.
