  1. Yes, I can post steps: Select solid geometry for a drill cycle, copy operation and re-select geometry for a new operation, an error comes up "encountered an improper arguement" then when I try to close MC it gives the "you can not close MC while a task is still active, mastercam:: edit geometry" error
  2. CNC says it is not a bug, they said I am doing something wrong, wrong! It is your software
  3. It is a bug I have reported several times already since X5
  4. Trying to save a very basic part with 6 tools as an STL file during verify and it crashed MU1? Even X5 wasn't this unstable
  5. MU1 is buggy, just like all other versions!
  6. You can use a larger piece of stock to run verify with multiple parts, there will just be excess material in between them.
  7. It is a bug, I posted about in X5 a month ago but CNC doesn't want to acknowledge that it exists.

    Bog?

    Make that bug lol

    Bog?

I have 2 seats of X6 that comes up with the wrong toolist when I go to print, it will print out a list for a previous job everytime, had the same problem with X5 on these 2 systems. We have 5 seats and the other 3 work fine?
  10. You can just add the command to the program #12001=0 etc. doesn't matter if you are using a probe or not
  11. A cheap chinese drill ought to do the trick, you get what you pay for lol
  12. I noticed the same thing, wait for MU1, 2, 0r 3 lol, please deposit another 10k for maintenance!
  13. I have narrowed this issue down to re-selecting geometry for drill points, my original geometry will be solid entities and when I go to re-select new geometry this error will pop up. I am not in the middle of any other operation when this happens, this error has occured 3x during the last 2 days.
  14. There seems to be a bug in the Level Manager, when going to change levels the window pops up and then MC locks up, just started today and only on 1 particular file
  15. Haas: Disposable mill, run the hell out of them, then throw it out and get a new one
  16. Apparently it is an X5 issue, no problems in X6
  17. I am using the toolpath editor, my part is in the front plane, when I re-select a point it inputs the XYZ values of the point in relation to the top plane. I even tried to place the part on the top plane and it still inputs the wrong coordinates 90% of the time.
  18. I posted on this a few weeks ago, except my error says "Mastercam:: Edit Geometry" it usually happens when I am editing solid geometry
  19. Jim, What seems to happen is I will reselect point geometry for a new part revision, then it will give me "Encountered an improper arguement" error, then I will get the aforementioned error. It seems to happen more often when I am using solid geometry.
  20. I get this error on a regular basis when re-selecting geometry Error: You cannot close the application while a task is still active: Mastercam::Edit Geometry. They only way to close MC at this point is to use task manager.
  21. Planes by geometry, Gview=T plane, Gview= name and save the current graphics view
  22. I can't seem to find an English version for X4 Elco1971 X4 Mill L3 Lathe L1 5X Solids SolidWorks 2011 Windows 7 x64 Intel Xeon 2.00 GHz 4.0 GB Ram NVidia Quadro FX3800
  23. Using M56 H1 D9 on our A55's, it was any easy post mod Elco1971 X4 Mill L3 Lathe L1 5X Solids SolidWorks 2007
  24. I prefer the geometry to be on the face I am machining ie. front face B0 etc, I see people rotating the WCS around and it creates a real clusterfork of a program, do it right or don't do it at all! Elco1971 SolidWorks 2007 X4 Mill L3 Lathe L1 5X XP Pro SP2
