Got a new PC that has Win 7 Ultimate, a 1Gig Vid.card with ddr5, 1.5Tera bits HD and 6 Gigs ddr3 ram

Installed X5 as Admin. and it still won't open!

Anyone else run into this problem??

Someone please help me, I need to get to my files to keep on making money...

Yes and he want's to sell me X6....I want my X5 to work like it said it can. I don't see why I need to dish out another XXXX CDN.when X5 is all I need. If it worked like it used to on XP there would be no need to modernize yet. I'll wait t'ill X10 or some thing.

did you let the install disc do a default install or did you force the install to go somewhere else ... this can cause all sorts of trouble

did you drop your config file from your old computer into your new install ... this can also cause all sorts of trouble

what happens when you lauch this file

"C:\Program Files (x86)\mcamx5\HaspX.exe"

Ahh. I get the little window with read, update and ok on top.

If I try to update, nothing happens. Should I update the code? What is my code?

you hasp codes are a little file that the dealer emails you when you buy Mastercam

they also email you a new one every year if you are on maintenance..

If X4 is working on your Hasp, your hasp should be OK.. I wouldn't mess with it

you may kill it..

Looks that way. Never gets far enough to say 'hasp not found'

Try's to start for 6 seconds and nothing after that.

Performance in the task manager goes up to 26% at it's peek in that 6 second laps of time. Then back down again.

Hasp.exe V5.2 see's my serial no. and Solids, router and Art modules also sais Hasp found.
