Preview all MCX files

There used to be a way to get a preview of all your mcx files one after another. A preview of each file would flash on the screen for a few seconds. Is that option still available? If so how do you do it in X5.

You're looking for the old File-Browse chook. It hasn't been updated since X2, AFAIK. Even then, it was an unofficial release.

In X6 in File, Open, I set it to extra large icons so you can see what was on the screen the last time it was saved. This may not be what you are looking for, but it's very helpful to me.

Thanks for the replies. It's all coming back to me now. I think file/browse went all the way back to Mastercam version 6 (I don't mean X6). Back then it wasn't even a C-hook. You just selected file/browse from a drop down menu......That's old school.

but the chook your looking for is still available for X3

Yes, I believe you're right. I'm pretty sure that people were asking for the original File-Browse after it was removed (in X?), so someone wrote the chook.

You could allways just use Windows explorer, with icons set to large, and you get the preview picture of all your mastercam files. Think this was part of the aiutility install. Couldn't be without it now..
