Hi Guys,

I have recently upgraded to from x5 to x6 all was ok but my pc was way to slow, so my company unpgraded me to a pc built to the mastercam specs.

In reinstalling software i have x5 working perfectly but have problems with x6.

When starting up X6 i get to where is says checking hasp and everything stops, the program just turns off.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, renamed config(as suggested by mastercam), i dont know what else to do, due to not being very good with computers and being is oz it makes comunication with mastercam(time zone) difficult.

please can anyone help.

I was looking for a thread from someone who had a similar problem, but can't find it.

I think he solved the problem by uninstalling X6, then uninstalling all the .NET Framework stuff

and reinstalling from the DVD.

The problem was one of the .NET Framework programs was corrupted

Finally after 2 weeks my reseller got back to me, i uninstalled x6 then he had me run "Cleanup_uninstall_x6 batch file" that mastercam supplied, this deleted every thing that was there and not removed from the standard uninstall,

reinstalled then bang... all good to go, thakyou every one for your help.

Steve
