Status Bar Not Showing

I'm using Mastercam X6 and when I open it I do not have the Status Bar showing on bottom.

Does anyone know how to fix this.

Try this.

Start

Programs

Mcam X6

Mcamx control panel applet

Select the correct version from the dropdown at the top (X6)

click the "reset" branch of the tree on the left

next to the one that says "status bar....." click where it says "do not reset", a dropdown will appear for you to switch it to "reset".

You could try resetting the status bar using the Mastercam control panel utility. Go into windows control panel and there should be an icon for Mastercam. Click it and it will bring up a control utility, Select your version of mastercam and right down the bottom there is a button for reset, so click that and then there is a status bar reset option.

where can this be deleted? Tried the control panel reset; no go .... tried resetting the toolbars, no go .... tried an update to MU2, no go .....

It's a .mtb file. It could be named mastercam.mtb unless you gave it a new name when you set it up.

no go. I first renamed it, and no new one was created. I copied one over from another working machine, and still a no go. tried (again) to reset the status bar from the control panel, and it was a no go

try what k2csq7 said! I had the same problem about 3 weeks ago. and that did the trick! I had to restart my computer before it took effect!

already tried that, several times. still a no go.

Time for a re-install of MC, IMO.
