How to disable MoldPlus?

Our workstations slowed to a crawl yesterday, but only when running Masteram

.

After much trouble shooting I think I've found the problem.

Our Moldplus nethasp is down. I uninstalled our MoldPlus Catia translators from one workstation and that

seemed to fix the problem.

Is there a way to disable MoldPlus without uninstalling it?

Follow-up turn ed the Customer feed back off for now and it is fast just like it usally is. there was even a delay when starting up.

Tom, yes there is. I have written a .bat file that allows me to disable or enable whatever I want that is an add on. You can just go into the chook folder and rename the catread5x.ft to catread5x.vt and the system will ignore it upon fire up. When you want ot use it again just rename back to catread5x.ft if using the full moldplus then you can find the .ft file associated to it and do the same thing.

That Should help you out.

I tried this and it works.

Our MoldPlus license server is still down.

I reinstalled MoldPlus CatRead and X6 takes about 90 seconds to launch

Then I renamed catread5x.ft to catread5x.vt and X6 lauanches right away.

Now I need to get on IT's case and get the server restarted
