T-SLOT MILLING OF UNDERCUT BY SURFACE ROUGH CONTOUR

Hi everyone,

I need some help to implement a rough operation on undercut by surface contour feature (at least I think that is the

right feature to be used).

The T-slot mill has a cutting diameter of 80mm, a flute length of 4mm and a shank diameter of 25mm.

The undercut has obtained by a 3D-sweeping of a cross section along a 3D off-plane path.

I am attaching an image of undercut design and relative mcx file.

In the level 5 there is the geometry of containment profile.

The output is somewhat uneven and blurred.

Where am I wrong?

Any suggestion or tip is welcome.

Thanks a lot in advance.
