Just goes to show you how stubborn Mastercammers are. If there is a workaround to be had one of us will find it. Excellent fix! Will work in the mean time.

MasterCam should be ashamed very ashamed. User friendly NOT! They really disrespected their customers with this release. I tried to think of an appropriate analog: It;s like a buying a super sports car that gets 75 mpg but the brakes only work with both feet on the brake petal and pressing HARD!

I think Mastercam should warn us about the problems with new versions before we start using them. Put out a .pdf file with the bugs that could not be fixed in that specific release and will be approached later. At least we can make the choice using the new version or not.

I really don't think the software is released intentially with known bugs - surely not?

Time between updates/patches is very poor IMO though - however, this SW is hugely complex.

Not being able to set the default is ridiculous and a waste of time. For every minor tool operation change you have to change them all.

Does anyone know if this has been cleared up? I downloaded SP2 but have not tried programming any new parts yet, still on x6 until this gets figured out.

Heard rumor that all is well with that issue in MU1. Maybe the powers that be will let us minions in on this one.
