Parasolid Kernel Interface Error

I've just read in an Alibre file, consisting of a solid model. The part came through with what appears to be two faces missing, and so appears "hollowed out" as if it is made up of surfaces. However, when I selected it, it selects it as a solid body, and chamfers displayed as isolated (as a result of the missing faces) are selected as well.

If I create a slice curve, it slices the missing faces even though they aren't displayed, but when I try to create edge curves from the solid, I get the following error:

"Parasolid® Kernel Interface Error:"

"PK Error Code 5037 - "

"bad_interval"

Has anyone ever encountered this?

I get the same "missing face" display issues in X6, X7, Solidworks and NX. (After having exported the solid from X6/X7 as a parasolid so I can try them in NX or Solidworks). Other faces are mis-displayed in NX/Solidworks.

Haha, ok... I am a tool. I didn't even think to use the heal solids option.

I used that, and it showed the face perfectly. Weird that it was "there" but wouldn't shade.

So, Pete Rimkus, thanks. The Heal Solids option did the trick :)
