Anybody know of a tool manufacturer that makes a .012 wide full radius OD grooving insert?

first class custom Topnotch grooving tools

at reasonalble prices. Let me know if this would help.

 

I don't know of anyone who stocks anything that small. What material are you going to cut???

We have them specially grind a .080 full rad.

Carbide insert.

As stated earlier,you supply a print of what you want.

Kenn. does make a full .125 full rad. top notch, but I assume this will not work for you.

+10 on thinbit. I have used them alot.

++ on thin bit I would look at a unverisal holder that can work left and right they work great for either side you decide you want to go with for on the CNC or Conventional. I have used them on everything from toolstell to teflon. They also offer coatings but you normally have to wait for that.
