X7-45 Deg E.M. problem

I opened a file that I was working on yesterday and my 45 Deg E.M. went kaboom!

Not only did it go ape stuff on the 45 deg operations, it also magically changed a 1/2 FLAT E.M. into a 45 DEG chamfer tool and those toolpaths too a hit as well.

Make a note that I close and open X7 many times during the day for this same reason. To catch bad tools doing bad stuff. This happened on 1st launch of X7 in the morning.

I know X7 is buggy. So it has to be my fault...for using it.

Proceed with caution homies. My program just made a counterbore where I wanted was a 45 chamfer.

The tool display area would show a big red X when not defining the tool correctly. And yes Randy it translated to a part on the machine. It changed the tool order and the the wrong tool started to make a chamfer.

Here's where I was part of the problem, I didn't check the posted g-code.

I guess I just got so used to post a program and run it.

Like I said before, procede with caution guys.

Geeze TK, why all the sharp criticism? Don't you know all CAM software will spontaneously change your tool definitions? :harhar:
