X6 mu3 for sure.

Much more stable, plus the translators are pretty much up to date for most things out there at this point.

Wow, I went on the site early last week and I rember it being there. I'm not seeing it there now though.

You're right.

They have removed all the legacy downloads... only the current release is available

That could cause real problems. I've got the main release disks going back to V8,

but a lot of the SP's and MU's never shipped on a disc.

If I wanted to put X6MU3 on a new computer, I'd have a real problem.

I never bothered to maintain my inventory of SP's and MU's because they were

available for download.

I had to reload X6 a couple of weeks ago. My reseller sent me the files as they were not on the CNC website.

I was informed they are on our server and I was attempting to install it when the following notification appeared: mastercam X6 requires the following items to be installed on your computer.Click Install to begin these requirements. Click "the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) appears to have failed". Do you want to continue the installation?

I clicked "no"

Any suggestions?

Go to your Control Panel /Programs and Features

Look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)

If it's there, ignore the warning and proceed with the install
