X7 Crash

I programmed a part on one machine and want to program the fixture on another. Every time I try to create a new machine group for my fixture I get thrown out of x7.

 

I have had numerous other problems with x7 and have been told it might be my graphics card. I updated my driver with a certified driver and it hasn't helped. I have been told it is my anti-virus software. I disable it and x7 still crashes. Now I can't even create a new machine group. Gettnig pretty fed up.

Do you want to share your file and see if one of us has the same issue. I would try and do what you tried to see if it happens to me to.

Maybe CNC should start building PC's for use with their software so they can't use it as an excuse anymore.

Passed the file to another programmer that just installed x7. He opened it and created a new machine group with no problem. I think I am going to uninstall x7 and reinstall it. Can someone give me a link to uninstalling x7 correctly.

Sounds like you got your answer. so uninstall time. save your machines and posts min.

Do you know how to clear your Registry? if so remove all folders after the standard uninstall option and then into the reg to get the last bit.
