Vericut to MC X7 interface issue

Hello, Guys

 

Does someone know how to make a connection from vericut to mastercam X7 interface? (Vericut icon is showed in Mastercam tool bar) I can do it for X6, But X7 does not work! So......

No, can not open "Vericut.dll" when I try to trigger it! Why? I have copyed this file to Mastercam folder!

You have downloaded the latest X7 files from CGTech?

 

If so reinstall the .dll files and .ft file into the X7 Chook folder and the mcRes should be in the main X7 folder.

 

If this does not work call CGTech and they will sort it out.

Can you run Vericut from the desktop short cut? What release is X6 opening?

 

It could be your variables are not set for the latest release.

You have to define a path to the Vericut install in your environmental variables

And make sure you get it right. Just had this issue for the last couple of weeks with no real help from CGtech or reseller and then when I spent some time investigating the issue myself I noticed that the install documentation for the environment variable's is not right. The install directory on our windows 7 boxes is now "vericut 7.2.3" not 7.2.3 by itself , and once I changed this in the variable's it fixed the opening issue for both X6 & X7.
