mastercam x7 wont start

mastercam x7 wont open because it says no sim and closes, any help

Do you have a usb sim plugged into a usb port.

If so, go to Alladin's website, download and install the latest drivers.

If you don't have a sim, contact your Mastercam dealer

Or sometimes these are easiest to address through the re-seller so even if you do have a sim you may want to give them a call any have them take a gander. Couple things you can try in the mean time though:

 

1. The hasp should glow red (if the hasp does not light up when plugged in this is typically a driver issue, use Gcodes recommendation above and go to alladin website or sometimes easier yet would be to get it off the master cam website under downloads and misc, again this will most likely only be needed if the hasp does not glow.

 

2. Go to start --> all programs --> mastercam X7 --> utilities --> nhaspx.exe (hasp should be set to hasp) (nethasp should be set to nethasp and Local if the sim is plugged into the same pc or network if it is not into the current pc.

 

there is some other stuff you can do if you still have issues however like i stated above it would be best to have assistance from your mc re-seller from here on out.

run haspx.exe or nhaspx.exe and report the details

I usually unplug it and plug it back in and it's good.
