Just thought I would show a few of the new covers I got in today. They are nice need to get a few more now.

The 3D printed holder is something I made for the College I teach at to mount them inside the desks with the monitors and mouse when not in use.I just sold them 20 new units a few months back.

Pretty slick holder. I like em'. I use the case from my Smith & Wesson P99 to transport my SP Pro.

 

Do the workstations at your college have 3d mice? I'd love to outfit our labs, but I'd need 36 units. Instead we are getting Spaceclaim. VERY good educational offering they have.

The school had 17 units before I started selling for industrial and Education then this last year I sold them another 20 (shown in the picture) at a EDU discount. The holder I designed and we are now printing for one of the classrooms I teach Mastercam in. I will get a picture after we get them mounted and setup.

They are in the middle of upgrading and deep cleaning both my classrooms right now.

Does the case for the wireless one have any real protection, or is it just a soft case to protect from scratches.

Actually that one has a thicker and harder foam for protection to. I know this is the first model and we will soon have a new one that has a harder case I was told.So I think the next one will be more protective then this one.

 

I am just really glad they offered some cases especially for the wireless as I felt it was dumb to offer the wireless without a case like the laptop version of the Navagator.

the ony thing that needs to be added to the case for the wireless is a pocket for the receiver. The large cover actually has a storage net pocket in it.

Wow Jay those cases are really affordable. Yeah the gun case is a novelty. It generally only goes to firearm-friendly shops, and certainly doesn't come to the school.

 

I used to have a nice Pelican case. Their products are so nice. I've always wanted a Haliburton case as the end-all though.

Chris in the first picture on the right I have the Pelican case that holds two Navigators. I am thinking about bigger on to put one of each unit in for demo.

Very cool Jay. I need to make something for my navigator. The hard plastic shell that came in the box is on it's last legs. Our mechanic has a 3rd printer. You gave me a great idea.

MKD, Had one of those and sold it as it was not supported by Windows 7 Now I have the replacement Space Navigator for Laptops. I find it better then the old Traveler.

I'll buy the wireless version when they do Bluetooth. Laptop is running out of USB ports.

How many ports you have. I have 5 and use 3. one for mouse, one for Space Navigator and one for Mastercam key. oh ya some times one for a USB key or storage.

But it would be nice if it could use the bluetooth for sure.

. Jay, buy a docking station as I did. Then you don't have to plug-unplug ever time.

I own a few of them all ready. one is use for living room TV so when I am not to doing training I dock on of my M4700 laptops in it.

Then I have a customer I go see once a week on site were I keep another with Dual 24" Led Monitors and Solar key board, Laser Precision mouse and a Space Mouse Pro so I can walk in with one of my laptops and spend the day on site programming.

 

The docking stations for the Dell Precision Workstations are the best and give you allot of options for sure. At my office I use a custom built workstation. Before I built this one I thought about just using my laptop with one of the docking stations but decided on a desktop as I always have had both for years.
