We want to be able to show an entire part run like what I see in verify starting with the stock through to the complete part, as a .avi or .Mp4 file so we don't need Mastercam loaded to show it. Is this something I can do with Mastercam or Windows or do I need to install something like FRAPS for this?

You could just film it with your smart phone and email it to yourself, no?

Mastercam can make a video. You have to use mastercam simulation not verify. In simulation setup, select a machine , identify fixtures and stock. There's an option in simulation to make an avi. I used it last week for the first time and it works great. It creates an .exe file, so for convenience I keep it in its own folder.

drop to a dos box, and type in the word "SET". There should be a listing there that says "TEMP=" (and then a path). That is the path to your windows Temp dir. (%TEMP%).

Its a hidden (system) folder; make sure you enable viewing of those files.

Cheers.
