Walter Titex XD 70 deep hole carbide drills?

Recommended Posts

I haven't tried anything they have in 70xD but I have used their drills in 300M @ 55Hrc up to 12xD with no problems..

All their stuff I have tried has done what they said it would.. pretty pricey to purchase but so far they have been totally worth it for us..

faster cycle times, and less messing around.. can't beat that.. end result for us has been a huge cost savings per hole..

That said a bunch of intersections sounds scary.. but still probably worth giving them a shot.. since i'm guessing you have to get it done one way or another either way.

If you have the high pressure thru coolant the drills work as advertised.

The stub drill pilot hole is a must as well as taking the deep drill into the pilot hole before full rpm and high pressure coolant on, enough dwell for everything to come up to speed and power then watch and be amazed
