Makino D800Z

Hi all,

We are going to replace one of our 5 axis machines with a Makino D800Z. I was wondering if any of the forum members have used this machine?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

40 or 50 taper? Looks a lot like the Mattsurra and Mori(NMV) Series machines. Sorry no, but with Makino in the name kind of hard to go wrong in my humble opinion. Make sure you get all the bells and whistles and the machine model included in the Quote. No machine model no PO.

this machine will come with all the bells and whistles. we are getting HSK-A100. Makino Professional 5 Control.

The pro5 is a great control. Easy to navigate. Can't go wrong with Makino that's for sure.

Can't speak for that specific machine (although I saw it IMTS and it looked cool cutting air!) but we do have Makino's. Pro 3 and Pro 5. Awesome machines.
