Trunion solid

Hi all

 

Does anybody know why the solid for hass trunnion tables that come with mastercam for the 5 axis machines is not solid anymore, it rather mesh like STL, if so can it be fix please

Huh what are you referring to? In Simulation? I never have seen Mastercam have a HAAS machine with any Solid in it so please explain it better and I am sure someone will assist.

It's the same with every CAM I've used. If you must extract it you can get it from the machine sim folder. From there you can create a solid from it by using silhouette boundary and make your own extrusions. it'd be a good bit of work but I've used it to make step files for some of our machines from stl's we got from mazak. To be honest you'd be better off taking a pen, pad and tape measure to the one you have and making your own solid. Then you can convert that to what ever format you want.

Or you can go to your HAAS dealer and get Solid Models and do whatever you want...
