MC Issues

I am currently still using Mastercam X6 and it seems as of late when I am doing stuff it will just stop working and not do what I am trying to do, and I will have to run the RAM saver function, or shut it down and restart it to get it to work. It just started doing this in the last few months is there something I can do to keep this from happening or is it just something I will have to live with.

That's a tough one to diagnose. Has anything in your work flow changed, any new software been loaded? Could be a file has become corrupt, uninstall and reinstall might help.

Maybe check permissions on the folder. Microsoft will changes permissions with some updates on some folders and if the permissions on the McamX folder are not full control I have seen odd things happen on big files. Might check the video driver maybe a newer driver is causing conflict. I have seen bad memory and failing sectors on the hard drive do weird things also.

I get X6 acting goofy with my new PC lately

Its a 3.4ghx i7

New PC by chance ??

Nope no new PC they did several months ago put in more RAM and change it over to a SSHD but the did that on all of pur PC's and I seem to be only one have these issues. I will have our I.T. guys look into the permissions thing. Thanks for the ideas.
