Core Roughing

I would like to rough an area down to the final depth then move to the next area final depth and so on. is that possible?

It works it way down by roughing everything at the step down I input. I have a large part and it moves 25.0 just to hit this small area.

maybe its the wrong TP for this application?

You want to take depths of cut down then you get that in the Opti-Rough. If you want to have it step up it can or it can just step down the 25mm like you want.

"Optimize cut order" is supposed to do just that, but doesn't always yield desirable results.

Do you have it checked?

Yes I did check "Cut order" it does go around the part nice but still works down the same.

Containment boundaries? Might have to copy the operation and change the containment for each section, but it should get you there.
