Trouble Using Verify

In mastercam mill, I have recently come across trouble in using the verify operation to verify toolpaths. I run the verify, but it doesn't want to pick up the gouges and collisions. I have used MetaCut Utility to verify my toolpaths and it picks up all the gouges and collisions. My trial version for Metacut just ran out though. I now that the verify isn'y picking up the gouges and checks because I have ran the program on the mill and there are several gouges and checks that the verfiy simply didn't pick up. Can anybody help me with the verify command.

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum, when you go in the verify, click on the 1st icon on the left and you need to activate your stop on collision (bottom left) to be noticed when a collision occurs. HTH!

Rob,

Some machines rapid in a straight line,

some have dogleg sytle rapids.

If you are rapiding around down in pockets and

your machine dogleg rapids, that may be your problem. MC Verify does not accuratly simulate

dogleg sytle rapid moves. MetaCut Utilities does.

Those doglegs can fool you, as my recent experinces with a FADAL have shown.
