engraving with center drill -what cut parameters to select

Hi all, I am using Mastercam 2017 HLE.  if I want to engrave "3100"   using 1/4 " center drill what tool path I need to select? and what cut parameters cycle I need to select?

What is the shape you are cutting it on? Flat then basic contour. No worry about cut parameters defaults will help you prove the process.

If not a flat shape and not to crazy maybe 3d contour.

If real crazy shape then need to project the 2d contour toolpaths to the shape using proejct.

If extreme and need a 5 Axis then that is a different conversation.

it is flat  shape 5 X 6x .5

letters are .25"

Sometimes you also have to set 2d/3d to 3d to window select a lot of text or geometry (like for a logo), although not on these latest editions...
