When "drilling" with a ball em:
Tip comp on
Breakthrough amount = 0
Tip Angle = 0 or 180
Hardmill,
I copied the chook into Mcam and tried to run it.
I get some errors and then this:
"Fast Zcut Technology is not properly installed"
and then I get booted out.
Will this only run on the newest version?
I'm running V9.1 SP2
I found more info,
G60 is modal, same as G61.
G64 cancels both.
Must turn on at first position and off at G80.
What will be the easiest way to invoke this?
Where's the best place to insert this?
The postion move before the canned cycle? (G81,etc.)
Would the misc. integers be the easiest way to call this? Do I need G64 to cancel? Never dealt with it before.

I also get at least 1 crash a day, normally more like 2-4, been like that for me for me on two different computers, never have been able to figure out why. Sometime during file save, which is by far the worst time to crash. Must be the power in Oregon!!!
Funny, I have exactly the same problem, sometimes once a day, sometimes 10 or 12!!
It's never consistent, but always Mastercam.
The hard drive will go crazy like it's using it for memory and then, CRASH!!
Thank goodness for file salvage in Novell!
