James, We just purchased CMM Works,
http://www.accumetria.com/
Runs inside Solidquirks, looks very promising.
I'll keep you posted on how it works out.
Howdy James,
I remember screwing around with that controller for a long time and could never figure it out.
I'm pretty sure it has to be a parameter in the control. I think the best approach would be to setup a macro shortcut at the control (started to do that with Randy a long time ago) Talk to the guys at Toshiba and have them help you on that.(If you can find anybody that knows what their talking about.)

Is it safe to say you are looking because Verify is not working for you??
No, between the watertight issues and the not showing index moves I'm really disappointed with verify.
Also, looking to verify the actual gcode, not the NCI.
After looking at Vericut and Predator,
I think we are going to get Predator.
It will do what we need for a LOT less money.
The problem with Mastercam backplot or verify
is it does not show the tool transition between t-planes when indexing(personal bad experience on horizontal)
There is a chook in Mcam called MZ9.dll that will convert files.
I'm not sure about the access codes, I was under the impression that they came with Mcam Art.

1) Change Cplane to 3D and use Xform translate to move your part in 3D space.
Point to orgin
Also, Translate between views, from known point on model to origin if you need to rotate the model and set the origin.
2) The only way I know of is to just partial chain the areas you want to remachine.
3) In the Just4FunModified Icons directory of course!

I am really suprised about all the people tapping so slow and using cut taps to do it, Especially in aluminum.
I guess I am to much into a production enviroment to not tap at my machines max capacity of 3000.
+1
Just thought I would bump this up.
Sorry, I should have created a new topic in
off topic area. This post was from way back.......

Ok, I guess I want to take an informal poll:
Running a P4 2.80 GHz with 1 Gig of ram
Video card is an Nvidia Quadro4 750XGL
Monitor is a Hitachi 17 inch flat panel.
Running 1280x1024 32 bit resolution with acceleration all the way up.
I still get random crashes, No consistency.
After looking here:
http://www.nvidia.com/page/partner_certified_drivers.html
I've been running the 53.03 driver with the best luck so far.(Mastercam is not listed) The newest version (67.22 recommended for Solidworks) in there does not seem to be any better.
My question is for you guys running Nvidia Quadro's, What driver version are you running and with how much success? Are you turning down the acceleration at all?
If your running Novell for your network and saving your files to the network you can right click on the directory and select salvage files, depending on your free space you can salvage back days at a time!
Kev teh had to do this many times.....
