  8. A good option to buying a HAAS is try out YCM a little more money but at least twice the machine we bought a 50 taper 10000 rpm it is really an amazing machine for the money.
  9. I opened your file you can pick the top 3 surfaces together then the bottom one in a seperate op click single row may not be perfect with the flat endmill but close
  10. did you try using the single flow check box. they are right if the two surfaces cant align you will not be able to use flowline unless you seperate them
  11. I would think it is how you setup your work coordinates, -1 = G54 or sometimes 54 = G54 play with the values in your MCX file
  12. I beleive they run on a diffrent language but I have seen people post for them might want to check with steve kidd at www.multiaxis.com
  13. H and D's could be handled easier by using the machines system variable Spindle tool is generaly a 5000 variable so you could just tool change and have H=5020 D=5020 that way wich ever tool is in the spindle both comps are active for it
  14. Mitee Bites are great use them all the time. Hey anyone try inverta-bolts great for certain applications
  15. Roger, thank you very much. Guess I was just use to hitting entity from version 9
  16. I am an Idiot but I still cant figure this out! first if you use solids for drilling you can not get the change at point to work. So I create points at the desired locations which work for change at point. So when I pick them to drill it does not do it in the order I picked, But you are right it is the order I created. Is there no way around this except to create them in the order you want to drill them?
  17. does it print faster if you go to print preview then print from there?
  18. Is that going through a network printer? the printer on my computer prints fast no matter what but the network printer is slower between wire and shading. Maybe it is printer settings?
  19. I know many people like the haas for entry level but I mean come on he should have been arrested just for making them
  20. there is also a glass car like fuse that could be blown.
  21. Mop tool does 3 things Air cut reduction load monitoring adaptive feed control You run several no load programs for each axis prior to setting up your cutting data each tool has multiple setting pages for pocketing, contouring, diffrent types of cutting applications. Then you can group it in material types also. It will prevent chip thinning, insert life increases and run time increases. I have set it up at customers several times on average tool life has increased 15 to 30 percent, and run time decreased on average 26 percent. They have AE sensors on machines sold in japan Acustic emissions it listens to the cut instead of monitoring the load they took it from there cnc grinder balance technology I beleive. Great option may not be field retrofitable.
  22. Scientific cutting tools and micro 100 make great small single and multi threadmills.
