Thanks John, Just tried that but now I have what looks like a circle but If I analyse it-I have many lines. What I am trying to do is create points(from a circle) for 5 Axis drilling.

When i use simplify to convert a Nurbs spline to arcs nothing is happening-even when i have changed tolerances.

I have a offer from a company that uses UG.I have used several other systems including Mastercam,Delcam,Hypermill. has anyone used UG-what's the learning curve like etc.

Thanks. It would be nice to be able to display all planes shaded etc- and change the size of the axes labels etc. Some systems have nice big arrows that you can change the size of- I am gettin older-maybe I need to change my glasses

Not looking for an opinion- smart xxxx Normally when I want to select "endpoint" I get a little square that highlights the endpoint.But when I secet analyse I get not square on the endpoint

Thanks Apps Guy-Good point we do use Solidworks quite a lot. I am also trying to convince them to get the mill package-but they are not happy with Lathe. -

Based on what I see here. I guess there is no real point in upgrading to MR2 if one is only using lathe??? -
