I just looked at the "What's new" and it only gives you a list of Bug Fixes. Surely there should be a list of bugs/issues available to all users. I should not have to crash an expensive machine in order to find oout if there is an issue.
Has anybody ever used a Micro-Hone on a HAAS mill. We are trying to hold .0002 on a .5455 bore, the material is bronze and we are having a hard time holding the tolerance using a boring head.
How do I edit my post to output multiple offsets when I translate a toolpath.
My post is only outputting one offset even though I have selected assign new.
Thanks. What I am really trying to do here is to "copy" my operations to multiple fixture offsets G55 thru G59 and G154 P1 thru G154 P4.If I use translate it ask me for a distance, and if I use rotate it asks me for and angle etc. I have got the toolpaths to translate and rotate but not the way I want them. Basically I need to copy the ops to G55 X0Y0 G56 X0YO
Thanks John, when I use translate I select between points and steps 9 and under type and methods I select tool plane and check assign new, but I only get one offset value when I post.
How do I translate a toolpath to give me different offsets for example G55X0Y0,G56X0Y0.
I need to translate the toolpaths to 9 different offsets that I have already probed.
I have a series of grooves I need to do in a bore, same geometry, but at different Z depths.
I was wondering if there was a better way rather than having to copy each toolpath at different Z depths.
Thanks
Hi John, yes the information was helpfull. I just spoke with the reseller and hopefully he can modify the post.Because I don't really know where to start. Basically speaking I need to output the code above. I am probing a bolt pattern and each hole has to be individually probed because of geometry attributes
