I am useing X3 lathe and cant seem to get the file compare to open up anything.. Anyone else have this problem?
I have used it in the past versions and never had any trouble
Ok I have a program saved on my desktop and my next part is all most the same, so I imported the toolpaths but some of the tools have changed. First time doing this in X3 and never had this trouble in the past versions. Am I missing something? It didnt save me any time..
Thanks

the pass is too big for the insert
the holder came in collision with the part over the insert
increase the IC diameter of the insert
I did try that..
Just got done with a small mold insert and im still getting a collision in the verify and im not taking more that the insert. (only .025 per side)
just never had this in X2 and do like to use it.
I am using X3 and if I have a rough pass of .05 or more the verify will stop on collision. Could someone tell me where that setting is so I can change it. I do have the tool path parameter set at .200 depth of cut.
Thanks
I am using X3 and am pulling in AutoCAD files around 7,500 KB, it is very slow or it locks up and is geting very fustrating. It has always been like this even with X2 but just want to know if there is anything I can do??
AutoCAD is very fast no matter the file size, but MC cant handle a large file..
Thanks Greg!!!

One of the circles they use for clearance calculations may be out of whack. That was it.. I never had to do that before, works fine now
Thanks again
As you can see I have a simple part to make, but I cant seem to get my tool to cut any of the back id. I sure I missed something but cant find it.
