Robert,
I have only worked at this company for about six months, we have 10 lathes in the turning dept. and three operators, the other two use MC9 and I am the only one tht uses X2 on the same computer.
Boss told me that he was going to get another seat of X2 and a new computer which is fine but I dont want my settings messed with. So puting two icons on the desktop should work fine.
I have been trying to train these guys on X2 but they like MC9, it would have made it easier for them to learn slow instead of being forced all of a suddon. Either way they should like it a lot better after a while.
I havent figured it out yet, Ill have to work on it later, I guess I have to write a program now.
but thanks for the help, hope I didnt offend anyone by altering this thread
Hello All,
I am using a .0015 Rad. ID tool and trying to generate a .002 Rad.
When I POST it, there is no R value just direct moves. Is there a tolerance setting that I can change?
Thanks

hello, I programmed a part with about 12 operations and when I go to post it there are no Z moves. I started all over and about 3 or 4 operations in to it I posted it, and all was fine. so I finished it again, and agian no Z moves. What am I doing wrong? Very fustrated. after that I drew up a simple part tool pathed it and it was fine.
