I am getting some orthotics made and gonna have them light scanned so I have the cad for them, question is has anyone machined orthotics on a mill ?,Im not payin 400.00 for extra pairs,Would like ideas on how to hold ,material.tools etc:)
thanx brothers:)
Im sorry Crazy^Millman I forgot to include the specs:(
Processor is intelcore i7 [email protected] GHZ
8 GB RAM
HD Space= 453 GB
VIDEO CARD is NVIDIA GeForce GT 530
I hope this helps out! I noticed yesterday that if I want to make a assemblie and im getting the red circle, I just click on 1 of the tool name or holder name in the tool or length offset in the tool bar and it sorts them and moves the tool I want up the list and then lets me select it:)
Hope this helps someone as it works for me.
Good morning everyone:)
1 of our programmers is having this issue,This is what I got in my email this morning.
Hi Mike,
So, here is what happens:
When I just start MX-7 session I can bring casting STL file, modify it, shade it..... However, after I create or edit toolpathes making same STL visible (I saved it before on some level and then make this level visible) immediately crashes Mastercam. If I try to backplot any toolpath over visible STL - again crash. Once when I tried to backplot over STL it crashed with the message from NVIDIA OpenGL driver (see attached file). At the same time same STL works fine in verification.
May be you will be able to find anything about this problem.
Thanks,
Daniel
Any help appreciated:)
Thanks again Thad for pointing me in the right direction,
here is the solution for anyone needing it.
The file mwMachSim.ini needs to be deleted and is located in the My Documents\my mcamx7 folder.
just close x7 and delete this file and youll be good to go,when you reboot x7 it will create a new one!
