  1. The HTML setup sheets work pretty sweet for us but you can make your own easy enough. A good Image/Graphic is essential. Show as much as possible 3views (top, bot, side, front) plus an iso. Show jaws/tooling. Critical dimensions. Show program zero locations. Of course prog# and location in the DNC. Date and time of posted program is important. Program zeros. Offset #'s used. Tool list (HTML throws in a graphic of the tool). Programmer name. Save the setup sheets on the server in PDF so that they can print out each time the job is done and save from having to file hard copies. just my .02 D
  2. Email it me. [email protected] I'll flatten it with a special sheetmetal app and email you back an iges. Need to know mat'l type and thickness. D
  3. Anybody here have any success getting this app to work. I'm having a tough time getting a FTP server going. Thx.
  4. Holy cow! You guyz rock! Man I need to figure out this post thing....and then use it often enough so I don't forget it.
  5. Cool! Got it on the FTP. File name is: MPOSAIvX_3_31_06.PST
  6. Ok John, Got FileZilla. I need a username and password and port.
  7. I followed the FTP upload instructions but when I drag the file over to the FTP window it just opens up a IE window and displays the file on my drive.
  8. Working on getting it on the FTP. Stay tuned...
  9. This happened after updating my post to X3... I get a sequence number after all of the G40's like this: X.5362 Y19.6426 R.725 G40 N3490 G01 X.5113 Y19.6594 Z.2 F100. G00 X.5113 Y19.6594 Z1. M05 I'm stumped.
  10. Oh Man....Sorry guys. I went into V9 and it doesn't do what I'm thinking either. Time for a vacation....with no coffee. D
  11. Lemme clearify... I need to ADD a node (control) point dynamically along the spline (like I used to do a lot in V9. I don't want to move any existing node points ie. they need to stay put to keep that area of the spline in place. In V9 I go: Edit, spline, pick the spline, add node point, dynamic. Then I'd just stick as many points as I needed WHEREVER I needed them. I gettin scared here.... I'm expecting my final suggestion is going to be 1)X3 can't do it. 2)Go back to V9. 3)Contact your reseller. Heeeeelp...
  12. Create, point, dynamic only gives me a point along the spline. What I need is a Control Point that lets me 'stretch' the splines shape at that point using edit, modify spline.
  13. In V9 you could add node points dynamically along a spline. Looks like X3 add Node Point just sticks the node points on the spline. I need to stick a couple node points in a certain place along the spline so that I can tweek it at those points and retain the confority of the splin thru the other points. In V9 it was thru the edit dialog IIRC.
  14. Jay, Whats the web address for your other board?
  15. email it to me. I'll do it with a special app that create sheetmetal flat patterns. I'll need to know mat'l type (temper if aluminum) and thickness. should be a click-click bamm operation. I'll email you back in iges format. [email protected]
  16. I've been drueling about doing this for years.
  17. Same here. Make sure that the stock view in the stock setup tab ALWAYS is set to TOP. Anybody know why the stock view settng that matches your WCS will screw up the verify STL orientation.
  18. So what you're saying is overall skill has gone down over time? Wouldn't have guessed that looking at Jaz's rates. Must sell cars or be an atty in spare time.
  19. Thanks! I bumped up my page file as well. D
  20. Can't find em. Where specifically are dey at? D
  21. Were are ram settings stashed at Dan? Don't seem to be in the configuration anymore. THx
