I'm just trying to coax a 9.1 guy to make the switch. He's set in his his ways so to speak (thats a nice way of saying that he's f-ing stubborn).

This guys argument is basically that he is used to the 'word' commands on the left menu bar and he doesn't want to 'hunt' for icons. I keep telling him that I can customize X2 much to his 'style' of programming. Besides staying current with MC technology, what are some good arguments to tell this guy to get him to bite the bullet and take a few weeks to get used to the X2 functionality and sH!t can 9.1? Sorry for the rant. D

Anybody use one of these? We're looking at replacing our pneumatic brake with a hydro to get better torque resistance. Anybody have experience with this? Thanks!! D

I had to reinstall X2 MR2 SP1 and now the HTML setup sheet doesn't work right. It starts normally but then doesn't start up IE like it used to. I found where its putting the html file and there are no graphics in it....no screen shot, or tool graphic.

John, I did't have MDM1120 file in my config folder. I reinstalled X2 and now have a different error. ...gonna be a long day me thinks.

Is this option available on the CD? I cant find it. Mastercam decided to not start up today....figures on a Monday morning. It seems to try to start then it kicks out the typical crash message.

I know there's a way to do this. I just forgot. I've got a mess of wire and surfaces. Different colors. I want to pick just certain evtities that are of one color (not all of the just a few). Howd they do that???? Thanks, Daniel

I've been playing with Rhino but it doesn't give me what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of a program that is specifically designed to take a formed part and convert it into its flat pattern? Thanks, Daniel

Ryan, Colin is right. I had the same problems. Your different WCS's mess with the orientation of the saved STL. Do this: In the stock setup in your operations manager set the stock view to TOP for all of your toolpath groups. I know it makes sense for the stock view to follow your WCS but it simply doesn't work. Make em all TOP and your STL will be right where they need to be. HTH Daniel
