  1. Is there anyway to just turn these two surfaces into a single surface??? Thank you
  2. something I have been doing for awhile seems to work pretty good is When I get my finished surface I make a copy of it to another level. Then when I split the surface I try to split it a little higher then I would normally, then go to the copied surface and split it a little lower then the last one. use the two "extended" surfaces to tool path, they essentially create the perfect overlap to smooth out your transition... Best of luck!!! But also if your using a flowline 5 I have also had success with adding an exit blend usually 3 passes is enough...
  3. R u talking about a port? you are right in using a flowline 5 axis. make sure your surface offset is correct and you will also need a lead chain to drive your cutter off of. If for some reason u are having problems with the surface you imported from you client, try projecting lines over it from a side view and from that point recreate the port surface. I do this crap all day and will try to help you if u still are in need...
