What gives? I selected 3 operations out of 15 that I want to post. It will only post the first one and the the other two later. Okay you gurus out there what am I doing wrong. If it makes any difference I brought this file in from V9.
Okay, what am I missing here? Yu use to be able to anchor rectangular geometry in any one of 9 points in V9. The sketcher in X shows that you can only anchor from the center. There must be a way to anchor retangular geometry from any one of the 9 points?
Thanks
Yeah!! I finally got X!
When I go to post the master Cam x editor throws up this error. "ActiveX component can't create object"
What did I not do right?
Thanks
I have a big vacuum tool to build. The vendor gave me a surface model that I cannot convert into a solid. My question is how do I isolate a certain -Z- Level so I can attach a drill cycle to that depth. there mist be 35 different -Z- levels in this model. I would like to change all the differnt -Z- levels and put them on different levels so I can put a drill path on each -Z- level individually. I hope this makes sense.
Oh by the way I still have V9 with X sitting on my desk because our IS department is to busy to install.
I have some old Smart Cam files that I need to convert the geometry to Master Cam. I no longer have Smart Cam to convert my new file. Does anyone still have Smart Cam and willing to convert to a Iges file or a MC file? I will upload the file to "files to be converted to MC" and the file name is Flange1.pm4 / Flange3.pm4
Thanks
Okay, I really need to split this surface into two peices at the -Z- construction plain. It gives me the error "Cannot Trim Surface, Selected Curves Do Not Form A Closed Boundry.
Is there a way to do this without closing the boundry?
I will upload this file in the MC9 folder under 300 Post Split.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I'm using MR0105 and my clearnace is checked off. I noticed that I can get rid of the 7" retracts if I open the tool caontainment boundry about an inch bigger that it needs to be.
I doing a surface, rough pocket. After setting all my Z levels to retract .5 and feed level is .25 above the part it is coding out to go 7.25" above the part. Okay where is the hidden dialog box that tells it not to go 7" above the part.
Thanks
I would like to transform a 4 hole drill operation 7X's along the X axis.
I went to Toolpath Transform and fill in the blanks like I thought I was suppose to, but I'm haveing strange things happening.
What is happining is it does the first set of holes and the repeats the first set of holes and then the second set.
Now we go back to the beginning with the first set of holes the second and then the third.
Now we repeat it all over again.
What am I doing wrong
