Okay Gang,
I'm a little stumped here. I posted out several operations doing a five step c'bore. (Five hole sizes and each a little smaller and deeper.) Hope that makes sense. I roughed out all five steps first and then helixed bored them to size. Well between the third and fourth steps (on the helix bore) it put in an G55 and yes you guessed it it some some really nasty things to my part. Where and how did the G55 get there? How do I correct this problem?
Changed Master Cam cfg file. went to save it and said permission denied. What happened? I've changed this a cazillion times before. I'm running 9.1 with MuR0904.
+ 1000 James
I also have to icons assigned to different temp dirctories. I have seen the above error many times befor I finally put in individual temps.
Chip Pan, You name it. On the tooling side mostly tool steel A2 D2 S7.
the Modle shop side just about everything. Aluminum, Cast Iron, Delrin, and even Wood Patterns.
My post will not put a cancelation code "G5 P0" when the next operation is a drill cycle. It works great when you are milling in between operations but as soon as you put in a drill cycle it does not put in the code and the end of the mill cycle.
I hope this makes sense
Thanks
Inventor 9 is due out next month. Will there be a converter available then? We are going from Inventor 6 to 9 in one jump, will I need to load all previous converters for this?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks in advance,
Is there a way to convert AutoCad text into usable enities? I need to mill the text onto a fixture. Master Cam seems to see it as a note or block, but not a enity.
Thanks
in advance.
Here it is
pretract #End of tool path, toolchange
sav_absinc = absinc
absinc = one
sav_coolant = coolant
coolant = zero
if sav_coolant = 1, coolant = 0
if sav_coolant = 2, coolant = 5 #Mist off
if sav_coolant = 3, coolant = 6 #Tool off
#cc_pos is reset in the toolchange here
cc_pos = zero
gcode = zero
if prv_mi6=1,pccrloff
pbld, n, sccomp, *sm05, psub_end_mny, e
pbld, n, sgabsinc, sgcode, *sg28ref, "Z0.", scoolant, e
pbld, n, "M100", e
absinc = sav_absinc
coolant = sav_coolant
My post outputs "coolant off" and "air off" if the next operation is differnet than the current coolant operation.
Example below.....

Notice in the first tool coolant on "M08" and coolant off is "M59" but the next operation is for air....The next operation is for coolant....If all operations use air or coolant it codes just fine....but if I switch it codes out almost backwards....
Here is what my post looks like....
# Coolant M code selection
sm09 M09 #Coolant Off
sm08 M08 #Coolant Flood
sm08_1 M51 #Coolant Mist
sm08_2 M88 #Coolant Tool-High Pressure
sm09_0 M09 #Coolant Flood Off
sm09_1 M59 #Coolant Mist Off
sm09_2 M89 #Coolant Tool Off
scoolant #Target for string
Okay what gives?
I must be using a post that does not put in M01. I'm using an modified funuc post and that should post M01 after every operation? What an I doing wrong?
Roger,
I have loaded the translator patches, but none are Rhino patches. I know there is a Rhino converter out there cause someone else in plant has this feature and I cannot get it loaded.
