  1. Keep in mind it used to work with no issues. I don't think a windows update would change bios parameters would it? What do you figure could have made a change in the bios? This computer is only used by myself and I have never been in the bios. Unless IT was doing something on it one weekend. I will follow up on that to see if he changed something.
  2. Yes. I tried that originally before I posted here. Was my first thought since the _'s were highlighting as soon as I pressed alt.
  3. Nothing doing. Laptop for some reason will only bring up the menu's. Desktop no problem. Seems all alt+ commands are using the menu now over the toggle. I must have clicked something to only activate the menu rather than the toggle. Hopefully someone can chime in and let me know what I screwed up, lol.
  4. Ok thanks guys. I'll give it a try Tuesday.
  5. Hmm. That doesn't seem to do anything. Funny thing I came upstairs to my desk and on here it works fine, but on the lap top is what is giving me the issue.
  6. Where would I look to see that? I'm looking at the operations manager but can't seem to find that option. Maybe my definition of Ops Manager is wrong? In my picture, that is the ops manager correct?
  7. Hi guys. I'm trying to use ALT T and ALT S to toggle model and toolpaths and it used to work good for me for years, but suddenly it not only stopped working but its opening the menus instead. Did I change something somewhere to make it behave that way?
  8. Hey guys, does anyone know where the location of the manufacturers names in the mill tooling properties are stored? I have a few names that are not in the list and I'd like to add them if possible. See attached pic.
  9. Cathedral that worked for me. I had the tool defined as left spindle default. As soon as I changed it, it worked as should. Thanks for that.
  10. I have X8 but now that you mention it, I can't recall if my selection for default spindle is set to right like in your picture. I will have to check that in the morning.
  11. I have a different tool but its in the same library. It is indeed different but it does not update for me.
  12. So here's another related question. I have a job using the sub spindle that has 7 tools. When I define the right spindle, it doesn't update my axis control to right/upper. I have to make sure this is selected every tool. I was told this can't be changed. Is that true? I can't get it to default to right side when right spindle is defined?
  13. Ok guys that's awesome. Thanks for the replies.
  14. OK thanks guys. I'll call my re seller on Monday to have them fix it the way you showed.
  15. I don't understand. I want the feedrate to be .0625. I don't want it to ever change since the feed for a tap does not change. Not sure why you say not to set that. What would I put in the feed box? I understand why it posted 62.5. Its cause I set my spindle speed to 1000. If I change the spindle speed to say 500, it will change my feedrate to 31.25. The problem is the post outputs G95 for tapping cycles regardless. Sorry if I sound dumb, but I'm not getting what you mean.
  16. Hey guys, I am having issues with Mastercam changing my feedrates and rpm in the parameters. I have a 3/8-16 tap that I want to use. My post outputs G95 everytime (which is what I want) but if I put say 1000 RPM, it changes my feed from .0625 to 62.5. Then it outputs 62.5 inch/rev.If I change the feedrate in the parameters to .0625, it changes my rpm to 1. I can't change both as it keeps overriding my selection. Is there somewhere to tell it to leave it to what I set?
  17. Hey guys, was wondering if there are ways to have the dynamic toolpaths use a rapid instead of a back feedrate when rapid would be faster or switch between both depending on quicker path. The reason I'm asking is because the mill I have slows quite a bit on the corners when back feedrate is on. Example I have a back feedrate of 1000 on the machine but of course it can't do that around a corner so it slows down to 150 as it goes around. The radius its going around is about 2". So rapiding up and over would be quicker as its just a linear move vs multiple small moves or arcs.
  18. Hey guys, I'm trying to cut a part with the right spindle and everytime I select it in lathe properties, it doesn't stay. I'll close the properties and go back in, and left spindle is selected again. Is there a way to make that stay? Am I not doing something else? See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9PheW5oNE0&feature=youtu.be
  19. I do and I did. Thank you very much.
  20. I looked at that in edit but I only see that for UN delete. However yours looks slightly different. Where did you select that from?
  21. Hey guys, I have a part file (2D dxf) that I received from someone that has a whole bunch of circles and arcs. Every arc has a center point attached to it. I need to delete these for when I cut it on the Waterjet. Is there a way to mass delete points only? There are too many to select each one and delete.
