  1. thanks for the info guys.... CAMFUN on that link you lead me to, that particular program will it work on a fanuc controller... Im running a Topper machine with a fanuc series 18i-M controller...and that 12000 rpm is what the spindle on my machine tops out at so I think that would be a good warm up program for the machine.. thanks...
  2. I was wondering if someone on here might be able to lead me in the right direction here... I have a spinidle warm up program I run on my machine every morning when I first start it up.. here is the following code... % O9998(INCH INPUT) #996=0 #994=60 N1G91G28Z0. M3S6000 G91G28X0.Y0. G4X1. G91G1X[#991/25.4]Y[#992/25.4]Z[#993/25.4]F600. G04X1. #996=#996+1 IF[#996LT#994]GOTO1 G91G28Z0. G91G28X0.Y0. G04X1. M30 % what I am wanting to do is edit it to where it runs this program at this rpm for 30 times instead of 60 but then add to the program to run a additional 30 times at 10000 rpm then when its completed there it will be finished.. Im having problems getting it to return to the first cycle and run the 30 cycles at 6000 rpms.. the way I had it set up it would run one time at 6000 then one time at 10000 then start all over again at 6000 then back to 10000 and so on and so on.... thanks for any advice.....
  3. thanks mick.. there was no read me with the downlaod on how to set it up or use it so I was lost.. thanks again....
  4. Installed it .. where the heck is it at and how does it work,....thanks....
  5. I have a small section of code in my post that I would like to be at the begining of my programinstead of about 5 lines down in to it... its the code that denotes the tool nuber, offset, etc... if its 5 lines down I cannot see it in my controller under my program when I select which one I want to use... my question is in this following code where does it end at example 1 pcom_moveb c_mmlt #Multiple tool subprogram call ptoolcomment comment or example 2 pcom_moveb c_mmlt #Multiple tool subprogram call ptoolcomment comment pcan and also does the pcom_moveb part of this code need to be included or can I exclude it as well... I just want to make sure I move every thing that needs to be moved and not just part of it or to much of it ... thanks..... [ 01-13-2004, 07:13 AM: Message edited by: sr_7626@natl ]

  7. Our shop has recently aquired a new roughing cutter from iscar products.. We have been programming it as a flat end mill due to the fact we do not know the exact parameters of the radius on the cutter inserts.. its not even close enough to those of a bullnose end mill to choose that parameters tab for use with this new cutter.. its a feed mill series FFWOMT 09T320T ..I am wondering if there is some where I can download the exact specs and create a custom tool in MC for this particular tool and how I would go about doing so... any help on this would be appreciated...
  8. In my opinion i,j,k is better output that xy r output.. we have some machines that go crazy using the xy r out put if its to tight of a arc in the path it needs to follow.. when we changed to ijk output in our posts no more problems... just my opinion though that the ijk vectors are better....
  9. go to tools at the top of explorer tool bar select folder options then view tab and then select like current folder option and this will set it for you.. make sure your current folders are being displayed as u want them before u choose this selection...
  10. I must say very nice program.. one question though.. when I select it to display actual cycle time it says 0 hrs 0 mins 0sec... how do you get it to detect the actual cycle time of the tool path... thanks...
