    If you're just doing a 2D pocket, when selecting your chain, first pick the point where you want to start (with point mode) and after, pick the chain. That's it

    Oups, I just saw it... The only thing I've changed is "roll cutter around corned->sharp" and it work. But, yes, it's pretty strange...

    I looked at your file and the first thing I saw is that your tool is too big to cut it. You have 2.8" between "e" and "s" your tool have a 5"dia.

    Non, mais je sais un peu ce que ça fait. C'est un logiciel qui sert presque exclusivement au "dealer" Mastercam. Lorsqu'on fait du service technique, ça nous permet de nous mettre dans le même environnment (mill level-1...) que notre client.

    Have you try to play with cut depth. Put it in absolute a set the minimum depth just below the top of your piece.

    When I try to convert a DXF file directly from drive C, my computer crash. It only happen on drive C. Is anybody got this trouble before?

    How can we create custom holders. It look like there's only one type of holder... Is it something that is coming in future releases?

    Greg, In the lead-out settings, in the line settings, put the line Tangent, and set a ramp height. In the arc setting, put all values to zero. Hope this help

    I know it's an old topic, but I have somes problems with custom tools. I've created a kind of counter bore drill. I simulate it in backplot...no problems. Try it in verify and Duh! nothing happen. It only work in True solid not activ. Thank's

    Got this error when opening a mc8 file. It happen because I use the C-Hook "SETDIRS" What cause this? It's called "Error" on the ftp site in All pictuers Jpg,gif,bmp's. Thank's [ 09-28-2001: Message edited by: FRED ]

    Good morning! I got this problem while trying to write a STL file with the converter..."Not enough memory". Is it a limitation from Mastercam or do I have to do some cleaning somewhere.It's a uge file. Thank's

    Bill, I have not see your file, but download the last patch for surf. machining. It's C-hook activated and with the scallop toolpath, it's wonderfull!!! Hope it help...
