Thank's for your answers, My printer is a Canon BJ-230. I've changed the color to white and it's a little bit darker. But hope to resolve my problem without changing the color of my entities. Thank's everybody!!

I got this problem after installing Mcam7.2 on a new computer. While plotting or hardcopy, everything is very faint. I've been able to change line width but what about the drafting entities?? How can I change the width of drafting or make them more dark? Thank's

I've to get some lettering from a file but don't know how to open it and it's the first time I see theses extention: > .afm > .inf > .pfm > .pfb Can somebody help?

I'm working on a post and want to reverse the z output (I want it always positive). Can anybody help me on this. I've try: pzcalc zabs = -z But no result... Thank's for your help!!

A scary one... A guy was working on a old Matsuura milling center. He wanted to unlock the spindle so... thinking he was in MDI mode, he write something like M20 and while holding the spindle with his hand he pressed cycle start. DOOOO!!! He was in memory mode and the program in memory was calling a tool change. His index finger got 1 inch shorter. I still make nightmares on this one... ------------------ ***FRED***

I have a drawing(in MC8)build of multi surfaces and want to save it so I can open it with Inventor as a solid. What can I do? Is it better to do it in an other cad system(ex:solid edge...) or can Inventor handle surfaces. Mastercam can trim a solid but with just one surf. Thank's! ------------------ ***FRED***

Got somes problem with the trim toolpath...I work with V8.1.1 and the trim don't work at all!! Would you recommend to re-instal V8.1.1 or any other way to solve my problem... Thank's ------------------ ***FRED***

Harmoson, Just a little thing to help you with custom tools: When I'm not sure if the tool is well draw, I go in backplot, (make sure your tool appearance is plain)and do a SNAPSHOT. This way you can analyse your tool and be sure of your settings. Hope this help! ------------------ ***FRED*** -

While in the job set-up, is there a way to put the stock origin in the center of the piece and at the bottom. I can click on all the edges of the cube and the center at the top but can't select the center at the bottom. It's just to know if I can do that. Thank's

Is anybody know how I can output real estimate machining time in the set-up sheet. I've modified the variable in the lathe.set that set the time for tool change and changed the (uses .set file)in screen-->configure-->NC setting but I would like to use the set-up sheet that show me the tools I use. ------------------ ***FRED***

What graphic card do you have? A lot of crash are caused by bad graphic cards. If it's not your graphic card, your should re-instal Mastercam. I got this bug a few time ago and re-instal Mastercam and no more bug...But check your graphic card first. ------------------ ***FRED*** -

wgeurts, If it show you small circle with a X ,it's because your chain is not well trimmed. Zoom the circle and you will probably have to do a trim 2 entity...You can change your chaining tolerance too. ------------------ ***FRED*** -
You can go in toolpath--surface--finish--project.You select the surface you want to project on. On the last page(finish project param.) you just have to select the program that you have already done (a 2D pocket in your case).Click OK and that's it. ------------------ ***FRED***

Try the "analyze chain" and click "create geometry in problem areas. It will show you if there is some bad chaining and where it's. -
