You can look on the FTP for THREEPT82_SIMTECH.MC9
There's many way to do it. For my part, I did a new c-plane using two line (color #173) then put the new plane in the WCS. When you want to activate a plane, right-click on it and set current, T-plane & C-plane.
Hope it help
if you just output pbld, it will output the block delete only if set by a canned text. If you have pfbld, it'll force the output of the block delete anytime. So you can just leave it to pbld.
In your Job Setup, you first have to check "from tool". Then in your operations, just click on the tool used and it'll update the feed and speeds. Hope it help.
If you've maintenance, you can create a stl of your casting then cut this stl with restmill (you have a option to cut stl in restmill). Cimco's powerpack do a great job in this side too.
Phil,
To the last news, it's false. None of the citys around Sherbrooke got out of the big city thing. So you're in Vancouver? My brother live in Vancouver.
Any of you know how to do dnc with a Fadal CNC 88HS control? The communication already work fine (with Cimco's DNC MAX) but we want to do drip feed. How do we do drip feed with this machine? Any help would be very appreciated.
Thank's
Anybody here have a W.A.Whitney plasma cutting machine? I try to communicate with the machine with no success. The model is Advantage, and the control look to be a Edge.
Thank's

For the setting, to what I know, they're very standard: baud rate:19200 stop bit:2 data bit:2...
You can play with the Axis Limits setting. For your application, put the Maximum angle to something like 45 deg. and don't forget to select Limit Actions to MODIFY or to WARNING. It should do what you want. It could help too if you could put your part on the FTP.
Hope it help.
I'm just back from a 3 week trip to France... I was at L'Alpe d'Huez for the finish of this stage. There was 500000 people lined on the road side!!! Man I can said they've suffered from heat... Hello,
Don't know if somebody can help me on this problem but here's my problem:
I try to communicate with a fanuc 21i control via RS-232. When I try to send or receive a program from the control, I get an instant alarm on the control. Alarm 233...look's like port is busy.
I've a little tester for the port and it look's like something is using this port. (on my tester, light 2 is green, 4 and 20 are red. On all others CNC I've tested, all theses light are green. Is there's a parameter or setting I can change to desactivate what is using the com port?
Thank's
After you'll try helix entry, you'll not care so much about plunge. It's so smooth...
And in helix, you can tell Mastercam to not plunge if he can't ramp.
Hope it help
