Brendan, you may have hit the nail on the head! The dr said it could be caused by years of being in the shop. Silica, I guess, and from running open machines!! My wife is freakin out now, cuz I have an open table! D'oh! Jer teh pass the mask! ps they are talking about putting in a trach tube!

Lung biopsy results today. Pulmonary Fibrosis. He's had it awhile, and it's not life threatening, but they have no idea why his lungs are so infected with whatever it is he has. He is heavily sedated, and that is the best thing until they find the cause of the infection. Luckily, Cheryl is a pit bull, and won't just take any answer to her questions. Looks like she will be there at least a week or so, It was 111 when I left on tuesday Thanx for the prayers guys, and keep it up. We aint out the woods yet. Jer teh frazzled

Update 3pm Its time for cuttin' Cheryl (my wife) says he's in pretty good spirits, despite being on a respirator. He can't talk, but he's calling them stupid cuz they can't understand his sign language. lol I will be driving to Phoenix tomorrow, but will update this b4 I go. Thanx to all ps we should have the results of the biopsy in less than 24 hrs. be back soon Jer teh worried

I am definately not a man of faith, but I know many of the people here are. Put my father in law in your prayers, he is in the hospital fight who knows what (the dr.s don't)and he will be in surgery tomorrow for a lung biopsy. He is a gear cutter, very smart, and he's got a cute daughter (couldn't resist). 70 years old, and was working in a mach shop till a week ago. BTW, his name is Don, and he's a hell of a guy!! Jer

We got a call from our daughters teacher one year asking us if we did indeed go to Africa for the weekend!!! My daughter was able to point it out on the map, so the teacher wan't sure if she was making it up. Jer teh look out for the rhinos

my uncle has 26 yrs with sbc aka pacbell. I've heard the horror stories of new young management getting paid bonuses to get rid of the oldtimers before they can retire and get a pension!!! nfranco, same thing with directv. I wanted another box, and they said it would cost me $99. I told them either give it to me free, or I'll switch to dish network. Got it free, but had to threaten them with termination of svc.
